Dedicated SQL Pools : How some stuff 'really' works

In the session we look at a few features as Azure Synapse Dedicated SQL Pools;
* Table Distributions
* Partitioning
* Result set caching
* materialized views.

We will cover these great features; When to use them but also which situations when not to use them and why.

This is a L400 session, so you will be expected to have used SQLDW or Synapse Dedicated SQL Pools , not just skimmed the documentation. 🙂 If you don't know your Round Robin from your Clustered Column Stored Index, then maybe this isn't the session for you.
