Troubleshoot Real-World Scenarios with Extended Events

Extended Events (XE) is a lightweight method of capturing events happening in SQL Server that allows you go deeper into the SQL Server engine to troubleshoot issues than previous methods. With Extended Events, you gather all the data you need to troubleshoot a problem.

If you don’t know how to leverage Extended Events, this is the session for you. We will cover one example in detail for you and then showcase other real-world problems. Once you see how easy it is to use, you will crave to learn more. From now on don’t guess what the problem is, find and collect the root cause.

No prior knowledge is required, everyone can get started today. This session will give you as attendees enough knowledge of Extended Events to start exploring them on your own. You’ll walk away with a better understanding of real-life issues you can solve in your environment.
