UI/UX in PowerBI

In this 20 minute session we will spend the first half exploring why UI/UX in BI is so critical as well as exploring some UI/UX concepts & the psychological underpinnings, to help us understand how the human brain absorbs information and how we can design in a human centric way to take advantage of these concepts.
In the second half of the talk we’ll take these concepts and apply them to a PowerBI report, to show how application the concepts in the first half can take a mess of a report and transform it into something you can proudly present at a shareholder meeting.

Takeaway 1: Why UI/UX is so important
Takeaway 2: What are some core UI/UX concepts and the psychological principles that underpin them
Takeaway 3: How we can use these principles in PowerBI
