Different dimensions of monitoring and tuning performance for Azure SQL

You moved to the Azure SQL Database, so your job is done - right? No, you still need to monitor and performance tune your database.
It can be overwhelming having to learn a whole new set of tools and new performance constraints. In the cloud, improving performance can directly lower your costs, making it important to manage and optimize.

In this demo centric session, we will show you how to monitor and troubleshoot Azure SQL/Managed Instance database performance issues. We will see the differences between on-prem SQL Server Vs Azure SQL/Managed Instance cloud database performance troubleshooting. And we will also see how to juggle between cost and performance to find the optimal ground with low cost and high performance of your Azure SQL database with scalability. We will generate Power BI powered database scorecards for trend analysis.
