Why you should care about Data Community and how the community cares about you
Fast backward 10 years, I was a database developer who was allowed to travel to this huge SQL conference in Seattle. Knowing nobody upfront, it was overwhelming how open the data community was to a newbie like me.
Fast forward 10 years, I am data consultant, Microsoft Data Platform MVP, international speaker, member of the Azure Data Community Advisory board and organizer of several data platform events.
In between, was a highly recommended relationship between the data community around the world and myself. I learned a lot from community members, and now I am more than willing to give back to the community.
Join me in this session to talk about WHY you should care about the Data Community and HOW every side of the relationship (the community and you) gets the best out of it.
