SQL Server and Intel: Unlock Better SQL Performance and Scalability
There is more data now than ever before with only a small fraction of the ingested data ever being processed. And as we continue to produce data at record levels, systems can barely keep up with demands. To address these challenges, we will cover the benefits of using SQL Server 2019 / 2022 with Intel technology – optimized for performance and scalability. We will discuss how SQL Server can take advantage of Intel Optane™ Persistent Memory to improve scalability, how Intel QuickAssist Technology (a new SQL Server 2022 feature) improves backup performance and capacity, and finally we will highlight new storage engine features in SQL Server 2022.
