Travelling to SQLBits

Nothing about this trip is plane…

Where is SQLBits?

We can assure you that, at the London ExCeL, you will be having the best Thames at SQLBits! Keep your London Eye on the prize and get ready to level up your data skills!

The Docklands Light Railway (known as the DLR) is part of the London Underground network. Alight at Prince Regent station. All trains towards Beckton/Gallions Reach will stop at Prince Regent. Trains pull up at a covered walkway leaving you with less than a two minute’s walk to the east entrance for SQLBits.

From any of the London train stations, transfer to the London Underground network to get to Prince Regent DLR Station. Plan your TFL journey.

Visit for information on train journeys.

London is well-served with a number of airports. Choose from Gatwick, Heathrow, Stanstead, Luton, Southend, or London City airport, which is just across the old dock from ExCel London. See air travel information for travel options from each.

E16 1FR – For the east entrance, when travelling to ExCeL from the M11, A13, or into London from the east.

E16 1XL – For the west entrance, when travelling to ExCeL from Blackwall Tunnel, Limehouse Link, A12, or central London.

SQLBits is in the north eastern end of ExCeL London halls. Aim for the Orange car park and zones 4-8 for the shortest walk. See the parking map.

There are plenty of cycle racks near to the east entrance underneath the stairway connecting Level 0 to Level 1.

You can take your bike on the Emirates Air Line cable car at all times at no extra cost, and on the DLR during off-peak times. See bikes on public transport for more details.

For more details, see the ExCeL London travel guide and their extensive visitor guide.
